COLD WEATHER – The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the Philippines is expected to experience cold weather until the end of March 2020.

On Monday (February 10, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that cold winds from the northeast due to Amihan is expected to last until next month.

Last week, the weather bureau recorded the coldest day in Metro Cebu with 22 degrees Celsius. The cold weather condition being experienced in the country is brought by the northeast monsoon.

PAGASA in Mactan also reported that Cebu could expect a colder temperature until the end of March. The data shows that the temperature can range from 23 degrees Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius this week.

“This is due to amihan affecting most parts of the country. We’re also expecting temperatures in Cebu to go lower than 22 degree Celsius in the coming days until the last week of March wherein we expect the amihan to end,” PAGASA said.
