The viral video of former Tawag ng Tanghalan finalist Carl Malone Montecido also caught the attention of other celebrities abroad.
Carl Malone first caught the attention of English singer Sam Smith through his rendition of Too Good At Goodbyes. The video was uploaded by a netizen who was mesmerized by the blind singer’s voice while he was singing in a grocery.
Sam Smith said that Carl Malone’s rendition of his song was “out of the universe”. Obviously, that post of the English singer on his Twitter account also caught the attention of several celebrities abroad. American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson retweeted the said post with the caption: “This video has been going around my team as well! This kid is insane!!”
Based on the article from Philippine Ultimate Showbiz, Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger, with Filipino blood, also commented on the video of Carl Malone Montecido.

Carl Malone joined the Tawag ng Tanghalan in 2016. Despite he is visually incapacitated, he was able to show to the whole Philippines his God-given talent. His every performance touched the hearts of the TNT judges as well as the members of the judges.
