Man & Brother-in-Law Involved in Unfortunate Incident in Binondo
MAN – A 30-year-old resident of Quezon City was shot by his brother-in-law in Binondo due to jealousy.
A lot of unfortunate scenarios take place in the different parts of the Philippines daily but it is seldom that family members are involved against each other. It is rare most especially when an incident led to death.
However, no matter how rare, it is possible. It recently took place in Binondo involving a husband and his brother-in-law.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a 30-year-old man identified as Haslem Casim was shot by his brother-in-law due to jealousy. The suspected was identified as alyas Samanudin, the 40-year-old brother-in-law of Casim.
According to Binondo Police Senior Master Sergeant Bernardo Cayabyab, the initial investigation showed that the incident took place along Juan Luna Street near Plaza Ruiz in Barangay 268.
The suspected has allegedly warned the victim to stop his relationship with his wife. However, allegedly, the wife and the victim continued to be close to each other.
Based on the report, Casim was rushed to Jose Abad Santos Medical Hospital. However, due to insufficient hospital facilities, he was transferred to the Philippine General Hospital.
Unfortunately, the victim died. The suspected was arrested by the authorities in a follow-up operation in Binondo. As of this writing, there are still no other information regarding the incident.
