Mother Accidentally Smothers 4-Month-Old Son By Collapsing On Him After Heart Attack

MOTHER – A mother in Arizona accidentally suffocated her 4-month-old son by collapsing on him after a heart attack.

Heart attacks are increasingly occurring in younger people and women. This disease is a life-threatening event caused by the disturbance in the blood flow to the heart.

Based on a report from Medical News Today, women are less likely to survive their 1st heart attack because it displays unusual symptoms or “silent” heart attack. Research says women experience symptoms like chest pain or discomfort for several weeks before the heart attack.

Recently, a 38-year-old mother accidentally suffocated her 4-month-old son after dying from a heart attack. According to a report from Newshub, baby Denari from Arizona died after his mom Larinique Meadows fell on him during a medical emergency. Both mom and son died on Saturday in a double tragedy.

Larinique Meadows had researched regarding chest pains on her cell phone but did not call the emergency telephone number 911. Detective Greg Bacon of Tempe Police Arizona said he is completely saddened by this tragic incident.

“We believe that she has some sort of heart condition, heart episode, and then passed away and fell on top of Denari,” he said.

Based on the report, Denari’s father, who works the night shift, was asleep during the tragic incident. He woke up 6 hours later to find the dead body of his son and wife. The cop said he mourned for the father.

“He seems to be very hard-working, trying to provide for his family, works nights, ran some errands that morning for the family, specifically for the baby…”

“So, it’s just a very tragic situation,” he added.

Their neighbors left candles and flowers outside their home.
