Quezon Records 4th Suspected Case Of Coronavirus In Philippines
4TH SUSPECTED CASE OF CORONAVIRUS – According to health authorities, another suspected carrier of the Wuhan coronavirus has been recorded in Quezon province.
Based on an article from Inquirer, Dr. Grace Santiago, Quezon health officer, said the latest PUI was brought to their attention Wednesday. With this, the total number of PUIs in the province rose to four individuals.
With this, the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) disclosed the information to the public by announcing a statement on Thursday morning.
We have four PUIs, meaning they have a history of travel to China or Hong Kong or Macau within the past 14 days

Santiago said the patient sought medical aid due to fever, cough, and cold. These are common symptoms of the 2019 nCov that has taken at least 564 lives globally.
However, she highlighted that as of 9:00 a.m. on February 6, Quezon remained negative for the Wuhan coronavirus.
Santiago did not provide other details regarding the new PUI and did not disclose which hospital the person was confined in much like the other PUIs.
According to her, the PUIs were being taken care of and monitored by the DOH and IPHO medical staff.
Specimens have been collected and sent to the national reference laboratory. We are awaiting results. The necessary precautionary measures were done
