Three Men Killed In Shootout In San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan

BULACAN – Three drug suspects were killed in a gunfight with the cops on Sunday evening in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

According to SunStar, acting regional director of the Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PPO) Police Colonel Emma Libunao identified one of the suspects as Jay- ar Borromeo.

The other two fatalities were only identified under the alias Liiit and Junior. The three were the subject of a drug bust at around 11 PM on Sunday, February 2.

The bust ops escalated into a gunfight when one of the suspects deduced that they were facing policemen. Borromeo was included in the drugs watchlist of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), says Libunao.

As per the report, retrieved from the suspects were 30 small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing methamphetamine hydrochloride, 13 fired catridge cases of a .9mm calibre pistol and a tricycle without plate number.

Other items recovered from them were one caliber .38 revolver Smith and Wesson with three pieces of fired cartridge cases and a live ammunition, an improvised shotgun with 12 gauge shot shell, an improvised hand gun loaded with one fired cartridge case of caliber .38, and buy bust money.
