Delivery Boy Shot While Walking Home From Work

DELIVERY BOY – The father of the 29-year-old delivery boy who died unexpectedly Sunday said his son was shot while walking home from work.

Lots of people around the world died due to gun violence. Kids and adults can be affected by firearm violence and it makes people fearful for their lives.

Firearm violence has a negative impact on people. They will be afraid to attend school or roam the city during the evening. It takes away their freedom. We can all hope that governments could implement a law that stops gun violence and protect people’s right to life.

Death by gunshot in the Philippine is increasing. Wrongdoers now use firearms to steal or terrorize people.

Recently, a 29-year-old delivery boy was shot dead Sunday morning on Ignacio Diaz Street, Barangay San Martin de Porres Quezon City. Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the victim was identified as Michael Keyser Magpantay.

According to the report, the delivery boy obtained two gunshot wounds. His father Florentino Magpantay said Michael was on his home from work. The shooting happened near Ignacio Diaz St.

Security guard Alvin Romero, who witnessed the shooting incident, said two unidentified men on board a motorcycle shot the victim. He saw one of the suspects grabbing something from the victim, a short time later, he heard two-gun shots. Alvin saw Michael dropped to the ground.

Based on the report, Alvin Romero said the two suspects escaped towards Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue (EDSA). Based on the initial investigation of the PNP, the phone of the victim was lost. Florentino Magpantay said his son was possibly murdered during a robbery since he has no enemy or negative records int heir barangay.
