The latest weather bulletin from the bureau said that the northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting extreme northern Luzon on Tuesday.

According to GMA News, the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains Batanes; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides might possibly occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, extreme northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds moving in the northeast with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds moving northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate coastal waters moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
