Police Arrest Tricycle Driver Evacuee From Batangas For Wearing Slippers
TRICYCLE DRIVER EVACUEE – A netizen on Facebook shared the story of how a police officer arrested her brother who was an evacuee from Batangas.
During the evacuation, residents near the danger-zone of Taal Volcano rushed to escape. Most of their belongings were left behind and only a few important things were brought with them.
This was the case for a netizen on Facebook named Arci Drxs Rys. She recalled how she and her family were stopped by police who couldn’t empathize with their situation.
They came from Batangas on a tricycle to buy some things because they couldn’t bring essentials like underwear. She added that they depended on donations from kind people.

They were stopped by the police but they complied. Her brother gave his license to the cops and explained that they were evacuees from San Nicolas.
The police then asked where they evacuated to. They said they went to Brgy. Dalig but the police still had doubts as to why they evacuated there. Arci explained that they have relatives there.
The police then told Arci that they were in a one-way street. However, Arci and her brother didn’t know that they were in one because there were no vehicles on that street and there was a car parked from where they came from.
Nakiusap kami sa humarang samen hindi niya kami pinapansin bagkos iniiwasan niya lang kami habang yung isang pulis deretso ang pag titicket sa kapatid ko pinapirma ang kapatid ko sabi ng kuya ko “paano ho yan hindi pa ho namin mababayaran yan nanghihingi pa mga ho kami ng tulong saan naman ho kami kukuha ng pang tubos jan” ang sakit na ang isinagot ng nagticket samen ay “edi makakasuhan ka at isa ka sa magiging wanted”
Ang itinicket po sa kuya ko ay dahil nakatsinelas. Naiintindihan ho namin ang trabaho ninyong mga pulis ngunit sana ho ay naiintindihan niyo rin ho kami sa ganitong sitwasyon. Kakapanlumo ho kayo. 😔🥺
