Disappointed Lady Expresses Disappointment Towards MSWD Personnel for Allegedly Refusing to Accept Some Evacuees in Evacuation Center
A certain MSWD personnel refused to accept some evacuees in the evacuation center and told them not to ask for extra clothes and beddings.
Last weekend, Taal Volcano erupts and belched ashes, small stones, and pyroclastic elements. The eruption displaced thousands of residents in Batangas, Cavite, and Tagaytay. It also causes damage to numerous properties in the affected areas.
Phivolcs also urged the affected residents to evacuate for their own safety and advised them to wear face masks. The Department of Health warned the public to avoid ash exposure because it might cause several health issues.
The Philippine government and other private sectors are already exerting effort to send help and financial assistance to the victims of Taal’s Eruption.
Recently, a Facebook user named Ghielian Carandang has expressed her disappointment towards certain personnel of Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for allegedly refusing to accept them in the evacuation center.
Carandang asked other personnel to let them stay at the Gymnasium of Sto. Tomas, Batangas and their request have been granted. However, the MSWD personnel identified as Tess Sarmiento told them not to ask for extra clothes and beddings.
The poor lady expressed her disappointment towards the public servant for being cruel and greedy to the evacuees who really need help.

“Hi everybody isa po ako sa mga nasalanta nang bulkang taal . Ako po ay residente ng pob. 7 sa talisay at ngayon pong araw na ito npunta kami ng asawa ko at anak ko dito sa sto. Tomas gym . isa sa mga evacuation center para sa mga nasalanta ng bulkan. Pagdating po nmin dito hindi po kami tinanggap nang babaeng ito puno ndaw po pero base sa nakita nmin may space pa poh para samin. Nakiusap po ang aking ina na c Raquel Carandang para makasama kami dito may mga tao pa po sya nilapitan para lang pumayag ang babaeng ito.. Ang sabi poh nya cge daw poh tatanggapin nya daw po kmi pero wag daw po kami manghi2ngi ng kumot at banig kasi wala ndaw po.pero madami nman pong nakalaan na sleeping kit para sa mga apektado ng bulkan. Bundok bundok pa nga po. Kinailangan po namin nang pamalit nang damit kaya lumapit po ako sa mga nka assign para sa mga pinami2gay na damit at sinabi ko po na bagong dating lang ako agad po nila akong binigyan ng damit at pati kumot inabutan pa po nla ako at ang anak ko pero agad pong lumapit itong c Mam Tess daw hnd ko po alam 22o nyang pangalan MSWD daw po sya dito sa sto.
