PH Coast Guard Stops Fisher Folks Who Attempted to Enter Taal Lake

The personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard apprehended some fisher folks who attempted to enter Taal Lake due to the ongoing eruption.

Over the past few days, the unexpected eruption of Taal Lake has been the headlines of several local news outlets and social media pages. The eruption affects thousands of people after the volcano spews ashes and small stones.

The ongoing eruption continues to spew volcanic ashes that can cause several health problems such as breathing difficulty, eye and skin irritation. Taal also continues to show signs that an imminent eruption could happen anytime soon.

Recently, the Facebook page “Even Demata” has shared the video footage of the Philippine Coast Guard apprehending some fishermen heading to Taal. The crew kindly asked the fishermen to go back for their own safety.

In the video, it can be seen that the marine personnel stopped to fisher folks from entering the area due to the impending eruption of Taal Volcano. The locals peacefully obeyed the authorities and go back.
