TRASLACION 2020 – Watch and enjoy the live streaming of the annual Feast of the Black Nazarene that gathers millions of Filipino devotees.
The Feast of the Black Nazarene or popularly known as “Traslacion” is one of the biggest religious events in the Philippines. The event is held every January 9 that usually lasts up to 20 hours.
Millions of devotees are gathering from the Minor Basilica in Intramuros heading to Quiapo Church. The Filipino devotees were attending the yearly religious event to show their faith and devotion.
The annual procession of the wooden statue has been already a part of Filipino culture and tradition throughout the decades. People usually wipe their handkerchiefs and kiss the statue with the aim to witness a miracle.
Previously, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has declared the suspension of classes and government works throughout Metro Manila due to the massive traffic congestion caused by the annual Traslacion.
