Jo Koy Spotted Performing A Surprise Set At QC Bar
JO KOY – Comedian Jo Koy gave a surprise performance at a bar in Quezon City days before his show at the Theatre at Solaire.
Fil-Am comedian Joseph Glenn Herbert a.k.a. Jo Koy rose to fame after his appearance on the American show “The Adam Corolla Show.” He said his mom was the one who encouraged him to join talent shows in his school.
He started his stand-up career at comedy clubs in 1994. He frequently talks about his Filipino heritage in his show.
Jo Koy is currently in the Philippines to hold a stand-up show at the Theatre at Solaire on Saturday, January 11. It will be included on his Netflix program. He will also have shows at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino (January 14) and at the Mall of Asia Arena (January 15.)
Days before his show in Manila, he was spotted at Farmers Market in Cubao. He seems to be shooting some scenes at the location. His photos went viral and made lots of netizens excited for his upcoming show.
Another photos of the 48-year-old stand-up comic surfaced online after he made a visit to a bar in Quezon City last January 7. Based on a report from PUSH, he did an impromptu comedy show at Mow’s Matalino St. in Quezon City.
Comedy Manila shared the photo of the comedian on their Facebook Page. In the caption, they said Jo Koy did a surprise set for the people at the venue.
