This is the evolution of Ivana Alawi from portraying small acting roles to becoming a YouTube sensation
Actress Ivana Alawi first started in showbiz doing small acting parts on TV but she has evolved into a YouTube sensation.
Ivana lived in Bahrain when she was a child. She was born to an Arab father but her mother is a Filipina. At a young age, she would witnesse her parents fighting but she did not understand deeper that kind of situation yet.
There was a point that her mother decided to leave because she could no longer bear the fighting. Ivana came after her mother to the Philippines when she was seven years old. Her mother was still pregnant with her youngest sister during that time. Since then, Ivana, her mother, and sister Mona Louise Ray, who is also into acting, have been living in the country.
Ivana Alawi started her showbiz career in 2015. That was the time when she joined a reality talent search. Fortunately, she was able to end the competition at Top 14 spot, according to the report from PUSH.
Three years after that, she was able to grab a role in Kapamilya series Araw, Gabi for the role of Rina. She also played the role of Amor in Ang Probinsyano, the young girlfriend of Don Gustavo Torralba played by the late Eddie Garcia.
In 2019, Ivana made an appearance in Home Sweetie Home and in the same year, she became a cast member in Sino Ang Maysala? Aside from the showbiz opportunities that landed on the lap of Ivana, fans have been enticed to follow her on social media because of her looks.
She shares her travels, daily routines, and revealing outfits on her social media accounts. Currently, her Instagram account already has 2.1 million followers. Moreover, Ivana also ventured into vlogging. In a short period of time, the number of her YouTube subscribers skyrocketed.
She now has 3.5 million subscribers on her YouTube channel and every video reaches millions of views. Definitely, her small parts on TV paved her way into being a YouTube sensation.
