ABS-CBN NETWORK – The Kapamilya stars have these comments and reactions as to what President Duterte has said against their network.
In a previous article, three months before the apparent closing of the ABS-CBN network, President Rodrigo Duterte stated to just sell the network. He has always been vocal and firm whenever talking about not renewing the franchise of the network who accordingly did not air his campaign ads despite the fact that he paid for it during the presidential elections.
He said, “Itong ABS, mag-expire ang contract ninyo. Mag-renew kayo, ewan ko lang kung may mangyari diyan. Kung ako sa inyo ipagbili niyo na ‘yan.”
With this, celebrities and famous personalities reacted and Tweeted with aq hashtag #ABSCBNIsNotForSale which eventually got in the list of trending topics. Agot Isidro states “Kapamilya Forever” while DJ Jhaiho wrote, “Unti unti na lumalabas ang intensyon. Walang awa sa mga manggagawa.”

Regarding to the renewal issues of franchise of the ABS-CBN network, the president has been firm in his pursuit to the closure of the network which did something to him during the 2016 elections.
