Bacolod City: Human Skeleton Found Inside A Drum

BACOLOD CITY – A human skeleton was discovered inside a drum that was floating near Bacolod City, Negros Occidental province.

According to GMA News’ Balitambayan, police reports show that one local fisherman found the drum which was 300 meters away from the shore.

Based on the report, at that time, it was a low tide, hence, the drum he discovered was floating nearby. The identity of the human skeleton is yet to be discovered.

Earlier this day, in the eastern region of the Negros Island, a decomposed body of a fisherman was found in an abandoned resort in Santa Catalina town.

Police are currently investigating whether or not there is a foul play involved in the death of a fisherman.

The fisherman, identified as Bernabe Tañedo by his brother Samuel, was said to be dead 5 days before his decomposed body was found in a room in Sitio Litid, Barangay Manalongon, Santa Catalina.

Police also recovered a a bloodied hunting knife, a wooden bolo, and a mobile phone inside the room.
