List of the Bacolod City Firecracker Zones this New Year
BACOLOD CITY FIRECRACKER ZONES – Here is a list of the places that were specified as cracker zones for New Year.
For this New Year celebration, the call of the government and the government agencies for a safe celebration is strengthened. The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Department of Health (DOH) are among those who work and encourage the public to prioritize their safety amid the fun.
Local governments have put up public fireworks display. It is best for the people to participate with it instead of engaging in illegal and risky firecrackers.
It is an undeniabe fact that firecrackers, although it has always been a part of the Filipino tradition in celebrating New Year, leave a lot of people injured after the celebration. Many lost their body parts because of it.
Despite it, there are still households that bought firecrackers and fireworks for the New Year celebration. To further the safety measures, some local government units have organized firecracker zones.
These firecracker zones or cracker zones refer to the only areas where people can make use of their fireworks and firecrackers. These places are under the security of the PNP and other authorities.
With regards to the Bacolod City firecracker zones, based on a post on TV Patrol Negros, there are 73 places assigned as cracker zones this New Year. They are under the control of ten (10) police stations.
