PAGASA – Fair Weather Expected In Celebration Of New Year’s Eve
PAGASA – Weahter bureau PAGASA said that the Philippines can expect fair weather as it celebrates New Year’s Eve.

The bureau added that easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean is currently prevailing.
According to Inquirer, the bureau’s latest forecast will bring warm weather to the whole country.
“Sa kasalukuyan wala po tayong nakikitang anumang mga kaulapan na posibleng maka-apekto at magdala ng mga pag-ulan dito sa ating kapuluan kaya’t sa ngayon wala naman tayong inaasahang mga malalakas na pag-ulan,”
Weather specialist Meno Mendoza said that they do not see any cloud bands that can possibly affect and bring rains in the country, hence, heavy rains are not expected. He added that easterlies, or winds from the Pacific Ocean, brings fair weather to a huge part of the country.
“Ang nakaka-apekto sa ngayon ay itong ating easterlies, o ating mga hangin na galing sa dagat Pasipiko, at ito’y nakaka-apekto nga sa buong bansa na magdadala naman ng maaliwalas na panahon sa napakalaking bahagi po ng ating bansa,”
Based on the report, the easterlies will also bring warm temperatures to different parts of the country. For the temperature, Metro Manila will face a maximum 32 degrees Celsius; 30 degrees Celsius in Laoag, Ilocos Norte; 30 degrees Celsius in Tuguegarao, Cagayan; 24 in Baguio City; and 31 degrees in Legazpi City, Albay.
The bureau have not release any gale warnings, as of the moment.
