MRT-3 To Give Commuters Free Rides On Rizal Day (December 30)

MRT-3 – Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) recently said that it will be giving commuters free rides in celebration of Rizal Day (Dec. 30).

Line 3 recently posted the announcement on Twitter. It says that in commemoration of the national hero of the Philippines Dr. Jose Rizal (José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda), free rides will be offered from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the morning, and 5:00 PM up to 7:00 PM on this day, December 30.

They added the hashtags “DOTrPH” “SulongMRT3” “RizalDay”.

“Bilang paggunita sa buhay ng ating pambansang bayani na si Gat Jose Rizal, magkakaroon ng libreng sakay sa MRT-3 mula 7:00AM hanggang 9:00AM at 5:00PM hanggang 7:00PM, ngayong araw, 30 Disyembre 2019.”

On December 7 , they gave free rides to participants of the Red Cross’ 5th Million Volunteer Run which was organized with the aim to raise funds for medical equipment such as ambulances, rescue vehicles, boats, and fire trucks.
