Shoplifter Throws Baby At Security Guard Before Fleeing The Scene
SHOPLIFTER THROWS BABY – Along with shoplifting, a man and a woman accomplice can add child endangerment to their lists of achievements.
Police from Springfield Delco are now on the hunt for a shoplifter who threw a baby at a security guard in order to stall him. What’s worse is, the man simply left the baby and fled the scene.
The pair was caught red-handed stealing baby formula at a Target store in Pennsylvania, United States. The incident was reported by ABC local TV station WPVI last Wednesday, Dec. 18.
According to the report, the store staff stated that the woman was putting the baby formula inside the backpack of the male suspect. However, when security came up to them, they quickly attempted to escape.
The man threw a baby strapped to a car seat at a guard and ran out of the store. “He threw a baby at him, the car seat tipped, the baby fell over, out of the car seat and rolled out“, quoted police chief Joe Daly.
Based on the Facebook post by the Springfield Delco Police department, the male was confronted by the security and while being escorted back to the office, he tossed the baby and ran on foot. Following this, security tended to the baby and called 911.
Afterward, the female came back and took custody of the infant. However, both the suspects have already fled the scene before the police could show up.
Though, the following day, the police were able to arrest the woman but are still looking for the man who threw the baby. Authorities stated that they knew the identity of the man but did not disclose the names of both suspects.
