DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN – The full trailer for the Filipino adaptation of the Korean hit series ‘Descendants of the Sun‘ earned various reactions from the netizens.
Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercado are the lead stars of the Filipino remake of the hit South Korean tv series ‘Descendants of The Sun.’
The prominent actress vowed to her fans that she “would do everything to give justice to the role.” The behind-the-scene photos of the lead actors went viral on social media. Several netizens reacted to their tandem.
On Sunday, December 22, the trailer of the much-anticipated version of the hit series has been released on Youtube. It was launched during the airing of the show “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.”
The Kapuso Primetime King will play the role of Captain Lucas a.k.a. Big Boss. The original version was played by Song Joong-Ki.
Jennylyn Mercado will play the role of Doctor Maxine a.k.a. Beauty. The Korean version was played by Song Hye Kyo. Rocco Nacino and Jasmine Curtis Smith will play the roles of Diego and Moira, respectively.
The first trailer of the new Kapuso series showed the iconic scenes of the Korean version. In one scene, Lucas caught Maxine yawning while looking messy. Another scene shown in the teaser, Diego and Moira having an argument. It also showed the stuffed toy that will play an important element in the series. It ended with the unforgettable shoelace scene of the lead stars.
The theme song of the series titled “You Are My Everything” performed by Julie Anne San Jose. It is expected to air in early 2020.
