Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado is one of the most beautiful actresses in the entertainment industry. She has done several hit tv series and films such as ‘The Prenup,’ ‘All of You,’ ‘Just the 3 of Us,’ and ‘Love You Two’ among others.
Aside from acting, she also entered the world of vlogging. She’s sometimes accompanied by her boyfriend Dennis Trillo. In a previous article, the celebrity couple performed at the LRT station.
On Thursday, October 3, Jennylyn Mercado took to the social media to announce that she’ll be playing the role of Dr. Maxine Dela Cruz, Dingdong Dantes’ leading lady on the Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean drama ‘Descendants of the Sun.’
The prominent actress expressed that she’s so glad to be picked for the role and vowed to the fans of the K-drama that she “would do everything to give justice to the role.”
The behind-the-scene photos of Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercado’s first day of shooting for ‘Descendants of the Sun’ surfaced on the internet.
On Mercado’s first day, she already did a scene with the Kapuso Primetime King. She also did some scenes with Bobby Andrews, the actor who plays the hospital director. Jennylyn wore her character’s surgeon uniform.
