GMA-7 Network Issues Statement on Cesar Apolinario’s Death

CESAR APOLINARIO’S DEATH – The GMA-7 network released a statement over the sudden passing of Cesar Apolinario.

Currently, the GMA-7 network is grieving over the passing of Cesar Apolinario, a GMA News reporter and a film director. He has been on the service for several years and many are grateful over the dedication and work of the late reporter.

Apolinario is undeniably known as a media man but he is also the man behind the films Banal in 2008, Puntod in 2009, and Dance of the Steel Bars in 2013. The said 2008 was one of the entries for the Metro Manila Film Festival that year.

However, in August, Cesar Apolinario was diagnosed with lymphoma. It is a type of cancer. Little did the public know that he was actually fighting for his life these recent months.

Yesterday, December 13, 2019, a sad report crossed the surface. GMA reporter Cesar Apolinario died at the age of 46 years old.

Former GMA reporter Steve Dailisan was one of those who was quick to post a heartfelt message over Apolinario’s death. On his Twitter post, he called him his “mentor and colleague”.

“Rest in PEACE, mentor and colleague @CesarApolinario. No more pain just LOVE and lasting happiness in the arms of God,” Dailisan wrote.

Recently, the GMA-7 network released a statement of Cesar Apolinario’s death. The Kapuso network is deeply saddened over the passing of the “award-winning broadcast journalist, writer, and director”.

In its statement, the GMA-7 assured that he’s dedication to the different fields will continue to live on amid Cesar Apolinario’s death. Here is the full statement of the Kapuso network on Facebook:
