Authorities Find 2 Dead Bodies In Abandoned Van In Cavite
2 DEAD BODIES – Authorities have discovered 2 dead bodies inside an abandoned white van in Noveleta Cavite.
Recently, there have been several van-related incidents happening in the Philippines. On Tuesday, a video of a woman being kidnapped in a van in Makati went viral.
This incident was confirmed by Makati police investigations chief Major Gideon Ines and they are yet to identify the victim who is allegedly Chinese and was also taken away by Chinese perpetrators.
The video which has spread online showed a woman being forced to get inside a gray van which stunned bystanders who were not able to help the victim in fear that the assailants were armed that would put their lives at risk.
Within the previous months, a lot of news regarding vans have been spread. However, some of these stories were fake news. With this, authorities have even arrested those spreading fake news about van abductions.
This time, however, things were as real as it gets. Authorities have found 2 dead bodies that were already decomposed. The victims were also tied via packaging tape.
According to reports from ABS-CBN, the victims’ driver licenses were also found inside the abandoned van. In addition, Police Col. Marlon Santos of the Cavite Police Provincial Office said the victims were from Oriental Mindoro.
Santos explained that the van where the victims were found was rented from Oriental Mindoro. He added that the two individuals were the drivers of the van.
Following this, Santos said that they have talked to and notified their immediate family. He advised them to proceed to Cavite for processing. With this, police are still investigating the incident.
