Vehicle Driver Exposes Kotong Cop Extorting Money
NO TO KOTONG COP – A vehicle driver expressed his disappointment towards an alleged Kotong cop extorting money.
Over the past few decades, numerous motorists are already complaining against traffic enforcers who were abusing their power and authority. Those servants were allegedly extorting money from helpless motorists and drivers.
The Philippine government is already exerting effort to eliminate corrupt government officials and public servants. However, there are still some government employees who were abusing their power.
Recently, a Facebook user named Matt Cyrell Narvasa Pangan has expressed his disappointment towards an MTPB personnel extorting money from him. The post garnered various reactions online.
Pangan said that the kotong cop apprehended him for allegedly committing a traffic violation “Passing through Redlight”. The driver declined the accusation and just apologized if he did something wrong.
The MTPB personnel confiscated Pangan’s driver’s license and explained that he could redeem it at Manila City Hall. The traffic cop asked him for money and he would forget the alleged violation.
