Video of a Boy with Down Syndrome Comforting His Classmate with Autism Goes Viral
Video of adorable boy with down syndrome giving hugs and comforts his classmate with autism became viral in social media.
A young adult with trisomy 21 has an average IQ of 50, which is equivalent to the mental ability of an 8-9-year-old child. Unfortunately, there is no cure for the medical condition but education and proper care can improve their quality of life.
However, those people deserved to be loved and to be respected despite their disabilities and mental incapability. There are schools and establishments that only exclusive to them.
Recently on Facebook, the page Jalisco Oculto shared a touching video showing how a boy with Down Syndrome calms and comforts his classmate with autism. The video was taken by the boys’ teacher while they were in class in Jalisco, Mexico.
In the video, it can be seen how the boy with down syndrome was wiping away the tears of his upset classmate with autism. He then continues to hug the boy and even taps his back to comfort him.
The long hug definitely calmed down the other boy. And in an effort to make the boy with autism happy, the boy with Down Syndrome held up his hands and waved them high.
The video has gone viral on social media as netizens were inspired and touched their hearts. Millions of netizens were thrilled with this boy’s generosity despite their condition.
