Vico Sotto had this answer to the basher who said that he was dating amid the “flood” in Pasig
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto reacted to the basher who said that he was dating while his city was already flooding.
Cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) experienced heavy rain during the time that Typhoon Tisoy hit the Philippines. The heavy rain came along as the 30th SEA Games is happening in the country. Because of this, some games were postponed as well as the classes in schools and works in government offices.
As a Mayor of Pasig, Vico sees to it that the needs of his constituents during these kinds of calamities are well-attended. He even shared an update of the situation before he finally had the time to watch SEA Games.
That time, he was spotted sitting beside Kapamilya host Gretchen Ho. Their photos that surfaced on social media brought “kilig” to many netizens who were anticipating there is something more between them than just seatmates in the gym.
However, one netizen who appeared to be a hater accused the young mayor of dating while his city was flooding. Based on the article from Bandera, the basher said, “Kung bumabaha sa Pasig at this very moment at kailangan ng agarang aksyon, your Mayor is seen with a Ho! May good time si Yorme sa panahon ng bagyo!”
Vico Sotto fired back to the basher as he said, “Lahat na lang ginagawang politika. Wag nyo naman idamay ang Pasig sa fake news dahil kahit nung kalakasan ng ulan nung 2pm hindi bumaha sa Pasig. Magandang makanuod ng laro sa Pasig ang mga opisyales ng Pasig. Suportahan na lang natin lahat ang mga Atletang Pilipino, di ba?”
Based on the article, the son of Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes did not clarify if it was just coincidence that he and the TV host watched the SEA Games at the same time. However, they are both alumni of Ateneo de Manila University.
