Mactan Cebu Airport Terminal 2 Wins 2019 World Architecture Award

MACTAN CEBU AIRPORT – The Terminal 2 of Mactan Cebu Airport bagged an award from the 2019 World Architecture Festival.

In its official Facebook page, the Mactan-Cebu International Airpot made a post saying that their Terminal 2 won the Transport category of Completed Buildings in the aforementioned event.

They won over other qualified nominees, namely:

Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore
Istanbul Airport in Turkey

The terminal’s architecture was designed by a multi-awarded firm called Integrated Design Associates (IDA) Hong Kong, as well as its principal architect Winston Shu, who collaborated with world-class Filipino designers.

The page further said that the award is another big win for all Cebuanos, and more likely in the Philippines.
