Gov’t Work in Metro Manila Is Suspended As Per Malacañang Order

MALACAÑANG – The Palace declared the suspension of government work in Metro Manila today, December 3, 2019.

Currently, several parts of the Philippines are experiencing a bad weather condition due to Tropical Storm Tisoy. In fact, some areas are already under storm signal number two (2) which prompted the suspension of classes in schools.

The suspension is for the safety of the students. Heavy rains is expected of Typhoon Tisoy and traveling may post risks on the students. Everyone is advised to monitor the weather updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Aside from the classes in schools, some work are also under a suspension order. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Malacañang Palace declared the suspension of government work in Metro Manila by noon today, December 3, 2019.

Typhoon Tisoy is expected to bring heavy rains in Metro Manila. Based on the report, the Supreme Court has also ordered the suspension of work in all courts in the said part of the country.

It was at 11:00 o’clock in the evening of Monday when the typhoon made its landfall in Sorsogon. Despite the bad weather condition, the Southeast Asia Games or SEA Games 2019 continues.
