List of Areas Where Class Suspension Will Be Implemented for SEA Games

CLASS SUSPENSION – Several schools have declared the suspension of classes for the celebration of the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2019 next week.

Currently, the Philippines is busy preparing for SEA Games 2019 which is set to be launched tomorrow, November 30, 2019. It is one of the biggest international events to be held in the country this year.

The participants from some other countries have already arrived in the country. Those who are tasked for the events are taking a double time as it is only a few hours before the launching of the event.

In line with the SEA Games 2019, the Department of Education (DepEd) has previously sought for the suspension of classes in some schools. It aims to give the teachers, parents, students, and the school admin and staff a full opportunity to watch and support the Philippine national team.

DepEd has penned a list of schools that are recommended for class suspension. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, some schools have already declared the suspension of the classes for the SEA Games 2019. Here is a list of the schools where classes will be suspended next week:

  • Manila

  • Pasig
    • Bagong Ilog Elementary School
    • Oranbo Elementary School
    • St. Paul College Pasig
  • Quezon City
    • St. Pedro Poveda College
  • Zambales
    • College of Subic Bay Montessori
    • Mondriaan Aura College
