Oyo Sotto clarified the post of Ai-Ai delas Alas about his alleged statement

Daddy’s Gurl actor Oyo Sotto denied that he said a certain political statement that Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.

On November 28, the Kapuso actress shared a statement that allegedly a quote from the son of Bossing Vic Sotto. The statement was apparently directed against the critics of the present administration.

“Kapag ibang bansa binomba, lakas niyo maka #PrayForFrance, etc. Pero nung ang Pinas na GINAWA NIYO LANG BIRO? Sinisisi niyo agad ang Presidente? Puro kayo talkshit! Mga hypocrite! Nalulungkot ako dahil may mga Pinoy na katulad niyo! Kinahihiya ko kayo! KAYA DI UMUUNLAD ANG PILIPINAS DAHIL SA INYO!”

Under this statement is the name of Oyo and it also featured his image. Ai-Ai shared this on her Instagram account and several netizens agreed to this. Here are some of the comments from the IG followers of the comedienne.

However, later that same day, the Kapuso actor denied that he said that political statement. Through his Instagram account also, he said that he wanted to clarify that the words in the photo did not come from him. He also called out to the person/persons who did this to delete this.

Here is the clarification from Oyo Sotto:

“GUSTO KO LANG PO LINAWIN NA HINDI SA AKIN GALING ANG MGA SALITANG NASA PICTURE. MATAGAL NA PO ITO, MAY NAGKALAT NA NAMAN. DOON PO SA GUMAWA NITO, PAKI DELETE AT WAG PO SANA GAMITIN ANG KUNG SINO MAN NA HINDI NAMAN TALAGA NAG SABI NYAN. MAG INGAT PO TAYO SA FAKE NEWS. SALAMAT PO”

The son of Vic Sotto and Dina Bonnevie even used the hashtag “Maramang Namamatay Sa Akala”.
