Concerned Netizen Seeks Help for Poor Old Man Who Experienced Series of Bad Luck

A certain netizen is now seeking help for a poor old man who experienced a series of bad luck in Manila while trying to land a stable job.

A Facebook user named Parplehaze Bautista has shared the heartbreaking story of an old man identified as Joel P. Selies. Bautista is urging the netizens to help the poor man who experienced a series of bad luck.

Selies who is a resident of Sagay City, Negros Occidental went to Metro Manila to work as a construction worker in DMCI. The old man worked at the construction site for almost three months.

Unfortunately, Joel’s possession and hard-earned cash were stolen by his fellow workers. A few days after the incident, unidentified men robbed his remaining money and mobile phone.

Joel decided to go with some scrap collectors and currently living under the bridge near SM Bicutan for already seven months. He also stressed out that some people were making fun of him.
