DOCTOR – A doctor has been hailed a hero after saved the life of the elderly passenger who was suffered dysuria mid-flight.

There have been lots of videos of that gone viral about people who demonstrate selfless-act. Netizens love watching videos that show a random act of kindness towards their fellowmen and animals.

On Tuesday, a hero doctor on the flight was caught on camera saving the life of an elderly passenger. He sucked the urine out of the ill man’s bladder mid-flight.

Based on a report from NZHerald, the doctor named Zhang Hong used a catheter to sip 800ml of piss. His selfless act was recorded onboard a China Southern Airlines from China to New York.

During their flight, a 70-year-old passenger suddenly suffered dysuria, a medical term for discomfort when urinating. The Chinese doctors Zhang and Xiao Zhanxiang came in to help the old man after the cabin crew said that they need medical assistance from any medical workers on board.

According to the report, Xiao searched for a device inside the plane to try to help the passenger urinate but it failed. Dr. Zhang decided to use a makeshift catheter to suck the urine out of the man’s body.

Based on the report, Zhang spent 37 minutes sucking the urine out of the ill man’s body. The doctor told the reporters later: “The pensioner’s abdomen was bloated, he could not sit still and was sweating a lot…”

“He was going into shock and may have suffered a risk to his life if we didn’t tend to him urgently… his family said he had a history of prostate enlargement, so we suspected this was causing urinary retention,” he added.
