Video Of OFW Mother Returns Home But Child Doesn’t Recognize Her
OFW MOTHER – A video of a OFW mother returning home and sees her kid, who does not recognize her, sparked sad reaction.
A netizen named Mariabel Delapeña Rustia posted a video on Facebook. The video showed her walking towards her little son. As the child rests on Maribel’s arms, he does not recognize her, further reaching for his grandmother and cries loudly.
In Mariabel’s caption, she admitted that she felt both happiness and sorrow, adding that she already knew that her son will not recognize her way back when she was working in Saudi Arabia.
She explained that she began working overseas while her kid was just seven months old. She left the kid to her mother, thinking that being an OFW would help her achiever her dream for her family’s future but to no avail.
Mariabel further said that not being recognized by her child after two years of working overseas is way more painful.
