Class Suspension Declared in These Areas on Wednesday (November 20)

CLASS SUSPENSION – Several local government units have declared the suspension of classes in some areas due to the effects of Typhoon Ramon.

Typhoon Kalmaegi or locally known as Bagyong Ramon continue to affect the weather condition over some parts of the archipelago. The typhoon is lashing the country with strong winds and heavy rains.

Ramon has maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 150 kph. The weather disturbance was last located in the vicinity of Santa Ana and moving 10 kph in a southwest direction.

Class Suspension

The weather bureau PAGASA also raised various tropical cyclone wind signals in different areas due to the combined effects of Ramon and the northeast monsoon (Amihan).

On Wednesday (November 20,k 2019), several local government units have declared class suspensions in different parts of the country due to the inclement weather condition brought by Typhoon Ramon.

The cancellation of classes has been done to ensure the safety of the students from any possible risk brought by the typhoon.
