DUTERTE DOESN’T TRUST ROBREDO – President Duterte wanted to clarify the parameters of Vice President Leni Robredo as the new drug czar.
According to him, Robredo is merely on a need-to-know basis. He added that Robredo could jeopardize the republic.
Need-to-know lang siya… If she asks something then you give her the half of it. The other half, if it’s a classified information, there is no need for her to know.

However, he emphasized that he was neither firing nor revoking Robredo’s post as the drug czar. Although, he decided not to give Robredo a post in the Cabinet.
He explained that he decided not to appoint her as a Cabinet member because she could jeopardize the situation. This included records that are secrets Duterte does not want Robredo to see.
