Michelle Dee reveals that problems occurred before her departure for the Miss World 2019 pageant
Filipina beauty queen Michelle Dee is set to go to London, England for the Miss World 2019 pageant but problems occurred before her departure.
Michelle is the daughter of Melanie Marquez who was crowned Miss World 1979. Somehow, this has become her edge winning in the national pageant and got the chance to represent the Philippines in the international competition.
Previously, the 23-year-old beauty queen shared her game plan for the competition this coming December 14. She said that she will do her best to bring home the crown because she has been training for the competition.
Michelle also shared a few details of her evening gown and national costume. She shared that she is happy that she has the chance to work with prominent designer Francis Libiran who created the gown that would reflect her personality. For her national costume, she proudly shared that they incorporated the national symbols of the Philippines.
A send-off party for Michelle Dee was held last week. Her family, friends, fellow beauty queens and the executives from the Miss World Philippines Organization were there to show support. However, in a recent post of Michelle on her Instagram story, she said that there were problems that occurred.
“Hello everyone! There were some problems that arose but I will be leaving tomorrow. Please wait for the official announcement of @msworldphil for further details. Thank you for your support. It means the world to me,” Michelle said. However, she did not specify what problems she encountered before leaving for the Miss World 2019 pageant.
