Isko Moreno Confronts Reckless Driver Who Drags Traffic Enforcer

Actor-turned-politician Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso aims to bring back the glory of the city of Manila. He said he almost never sleeps because he wants to observe what was lacking or needs to change in his city.
The 45-year-old politician strictly advised all the traffic enforcers to refuse accepting bribes form traffic violators. He promised that he will give a reward to those who do good in their job.
On November 16, a member of the traffic enforcer in Manila was caught on CCTV camera being dragged in the streets as he clung on to a speeding vehicle. Driver Orlando Ricardo Jr. was caught by Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) Adrian Lim speeding across parts of Sampaloc and Santa Cruz Manila.
The reckless driver didn’t allow the Manila traffic enforcer to give him a ticket for his violation which only cost P500. Mayor Isko Moreno paid a visit to the traffic violator who’s detained at the Station 3 of Manila Police District.
Isko Moreno scolds Orlando Ricardo Jr. at the police station. He is also dismayed that the driver acts so abusive towards the city employee considering he’s just passing by the city.
“Dumadaan lang kayo sa Maynila salbahe pa kayo? Wala kayong puwang dito sa Maynila,” he said.
The driver explained the reason why he was driving fast. He said he thought someone was chasing him. However, the mayor didn’t believe his alibi. “Masama yang tinitira mo ha, tamang hinala ka,” said Isko.
