FAST & FURIOUS – Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner character will return for the ninth installment of ‘Fast and Furious‘ film, according to reports.

American actor Paul Walker was best known for his role as Brian O’Conner on ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise. The series of movies has been commercially successful and became Universal Pictures’ biggest franchise.

Walker had been involved in a car accident on November 20, 2013, while riding his own Porsche GT. He and his companion were found dead in South Carolina.

The incident happened after he left the car show for his charity “Reach Out Worldwide.” The said charity was for the victims of typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines.

Paul Walker’s fans all over the world were deeply saddened by his death. His co-stars on the “Fast and Furious” franchise were stunned and saddened by the news.

Based on a report from LadBible, Paul Walker’s character set to “return” for the ‘Fast and Furious 9.” The production hinted that Brian O’Connor will make an appearance in the upcoming movie with the help of CGI. A source also revealed that the movie’s casting department is looking for the late actor’s double.

“Just got a new casting grid for something and with it some big news that are sure to be controversial. Not sure how I feel about it myself but we’ll see,” it wrote.

Last week, lead actor Vin Diesel posted a video on his Instagram with actress Michelle Rodriguez. The two celebrities are on a race track in Los Angeles. It seems the Fast and Furious 9 will revisit elements of the 1st film where Dom Toretto spoke to Paul Walker’s character.

Walker’s return is not officially confirmed but signs point to the return of Brian O’Connor. The much-awaited movie is set for release next year May 22.
