Department Of Health Says Black Death Plague Is Curable

BLACK DEATH PLAGUE CURABLE – The most deadly epidemic experienced by humanity has taken over 200 million lives in the mid-1300s, but the Department of Health said we have nothing to worry about.

Recently, two people from China were infected with the pneumonic plague. The same plague that was known as the Black Death Plague.

A Mongolian Couple lost their lives due to the bubonic plague. They got infected after eating the raw kidney of a marmot, which was their local health remedy.

Recently, two new patients from the Chinese province of Inner Mongolia were diagnosed with the pneumonic plague. However, they are now being treated in Beijing’s Chaoyang District.

The virus is very potent and highly contagious. However, the DOH said that the public does not need to panic about this incident.

In a report by GMA, DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III said that it is a curable and treatable disease. He added that it is only deadly if there was no medicine for it.

The World Health Organization (WHO) describes the pneumonic plague or lung-based plague as the most deadly form of plague. This disease can prove to be fatal if not treated early.

The Black Death plague was an epidemic brought about by the Bubonic plague. It is a disease caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis.

This bacteria is often found circulating among wild rodents where they live in great numbers. These areas are called a “plague focus” or plague reservoir.

According to the World Health Organization, there are more than 3248 reports of the plague worldwide. This was recorded from 2010 to 2015.

Globally, the plague has caused 50,000 human cases in the past 20 years. With this, the WHO has categorized the plague as a re-emerging disease.
