Billy Crawford Is Thankful to Vhong Navarro for Helping Him
BILLY CRAWFORD – Kapamilya television host Billy Crawford revealed how his fellow TV host, Vhong Navarro, helped save him from his habit.
It is no secret to the public that It’s Showtime hosts Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford are really brothers even behind the camera. They are always vocal about their love and concern for each other.
Recently, together with another brother of them, Luis Manzano, Billy and Vhong appeared as guests in the ABS-CBN morning program Magandang Buhay. During their guest appearance, they made revelations about their bond.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Billy Crawford revealed that he was hooked into a drinking habit before. Vhong Navarro is one of those who helped save him from the said habit.
According to Billy, there were times that he was not able to go to work because he drank the night before and could not get up from bed. He revealed that Vhong talked to him about it.
“Tinabi niya ako at sinabi niya sa akin, ‘Alam mo ba Billy, ito walang biro. Makakasira ito ng buhay mo kung hindi ka magiging propesyunal sa trabaho mo,” Billy said.
Based on the report, Billy Crawford further revealed that Vhong Navarro told him to respect his work. He also stressed to him that a lot of people want to be on his position in It’s Showtime.
“Noong sinabi sa akin ni Vhong ‘yon, may nag-trigger talaga sa utak ko na parang it was as real and as truthful as possible. Sobrang totoo ‘yung sinabi niya sa akin at sobrang nakatulong sa akin,” he said.
Billy is thankful to God that he is free from his drinking habit for a year now. He admitted that it is hard but he vowed to continue staying away from his vices. He also thanked Vhong for what he did.
On the part of Vhong Navarro, he admitted that it is hard to speak directly to a person but a friend should do it. He stressed that it must be done before worse things happen.
