Kind Teenager Raises Fund Online To Buy New Eyeglasses for Best Friend
A kind teenager raised money on social media to buy new eyeglasses for his best friend whose pair of glasses is no longer functional.
Nowadays, social media is one of the most popular communication and entertaining tools all around the world. Young children, teenagers, and even adults are already using social media in different purposes.
Many old people are telling young children to minimize the use of social media because this could have a bad effect on their lives. However, social media has both positive and negative sides.
Recently, a Twitter user named Muhammad Haikal Ahad took pity on his childhood best friend for having old eyeglasses, which is already filled with scratches. Ahad’s best friend identified as Muhammad Nur Faizal is already struggling with his eyeglasses.
Both Ahad and Faizal would face Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) but the kind teenager fears that his best friend might not pass the test because he might not be able to answer the test properly because his eyeglasses are no longer functional.
Ahad shared his best friend’s request on Twitter and explained that Faizal came from a poor family after losing both his parents in a road accident.
“This is my childhood friend. We had never been in the same class because he always has difficulties in memorizing. So, he would always be placed in the lower classes. We will face SPM this year, but the problem is, his glasses are no longer functional. Just look at these pictures,” Ahad said.
