Van Thief Caught By Authorities After Car Chase In Traffic
VAN THIEF – The authorities from Davao had apprehended a van thief after a wild car chase through traffic.
The suspect was known to be Carmelito Tabion from Sultan Kudarat. Tabion was trying to escape the police that were chasing him but was eventually caught.
According to reports from DXAB, the van thief hit several vehicles as he was trying to get away from the police. He got caught on a bridge seemingly trying to counterflow the ongoing traffic.
In a video posted by Facebook Netizen, Julie Morales, you could see the suspect resisting his arrest. The van thief even shut the doors of the van as one of the police got it open.
With handcuffs ready, the police were trying to get the suspect out of the van. However, he fought them back with kicks and punches.
Eventually, the authorities got the door open wide enough for them to get in. But, the suspect still had some fight left in him.
The police were screaming at the thief and ordering him to stand up and get out of the vehicle. Still, the person would not budge.
In the video, you could see about 5 people trying to pull him outside his seat. The suspect, Carmelito Cabion had eyes filled with rage as police were trying to cuff him.
The video got viral on Facebook and garnered about 30k views. It had already been shared almost 800 times.
