Vice Ganda has this post about relationship with Ion Perez with “apakayabang” term
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda used the term “apakayabang” term in post about relationship with boyfriend Ion Perez.
The term is derived from the “napakayabang” which the comedian-host recently used against religious leader Apollo Quiboloy. It can be recalled that the latter claimed that he was the one who made the earthquakes in Mindanao stopped.
Following this, Vice gave his reaction. He challenged the preacher from Davao City to stop Ang Probinsyano and the traffic in EDSA. The comedian-host also called the preacher “napakayabang”. This did not sit well with the followers of Quiboloy. Radio host Mike Abe from the radio station owned by the religious leader lambasted the TV host. Abe said that Vice has no right to insult Quiboloy.
In the recent post of Vice Ganda about his relationship with Ion Perez, he used the term again. The TV host shared a photo of him and his boyfriend wearing matching red outfits from the fashion show they attended.
His post has this caption: “Noon may nagsabing ‘Walang Forever!’. Pero may natagpuan ako kaya sabi naman nila ‘Sana oil!’. At ngayong damang dama nila ang saya ko ang masasabi mo na lng ‘Apakayabang mo!’. Hehehehe!!!”
