PAGASA – Tropical Storm Quiel To Several Parts OF Western Philippine
PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that tropical storm Quiel will bring rains over many western parts of the Philippines.

The bureau added that Quiel, as wellas the tail end of a cold front will bring cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms over the following areas:
- Ilocos Region
- Cordillera Administrative Region
- Cagayan Valley
According to GMA News, the tropical storm also brings cloudy skies with scattered rains over Western Visayas, Zambales, Bataan, Palawan and Mindoro provinces.
Quiel was last spotted at about 400 kilometers west northwest of the town of Coron, Palawan. It is currently packed with maximum sustained winds of about 85 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 105 kilometers per hour. It is currently moving slowly in the east southeast direction.
As for the cold front’s tail end, it will be affecting North Luzon, as mentioned above.
Based on the report, Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the Philippines, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.
The bureau warned the public of flash floods and landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.
As for the forcast wind speed, north Luzon face strong winds moving north east and rough coastal waters.
Western parts of Central and South Luzon face moderate to strong winds moving southwest to southeast with moderate to rough coastal waters.
Visayas and the rest of Luzon face moderate to strong winds moving southwest with moderate to rough coastal waters.
Mindanao will face light to moderate winds moving southwest to west with slight to moderate coastal waters.
