Heartwarming Story: 2 Elderly Men Collect & Donate Coins To Quake Victims in Mindanao
Two elderly men show an act of kindness after saving coins and donating it to the victims of disastrous earthquakes in Mindanao.
Last week, Cotabato and several parts of Mindanao were repeatedly struck by a series of powerful earthquakes. The disastrous temblors displaced thousands of people in the area and even killed some of the residents.
The Philippine government, private sectors, and other personalities were already exerting efforts to help the quake victims in Mindanao. However, the quake-affected residents are still asking for food, medicines, water, and shelter due to insufficient financial aid.
Recently, two elderlies proved that the faith in humanity is restored after soliciting coins from neighborhoods and donated the amount they’ve collected to the quake victims. The two old men also traveled a long journey just to give their donations.
A Facebook user named “Nosmij Nabetse” has shared the photos of two elderlies who delivered a certain amount of coins and paper bills, which has a total amount of P200. They have walked a couple of kilometers just to show their love and care for our needy countrymen.

“Halos maluha ako kanina habang binibilang namin ang lahat ng nagbigay ng tulong para sa mga nilindol dito sa mindanao nang biglang dumating ang dalawang matanda na may buhat buhat na mga barya at tig bebente para makatulong din daw sila sa mga nilindol, nasa 200 pesos po ata ang total ng ibinigay nilang tulong, nag solicit daw sila sa kanilang lugar sa bundok kaya nakalikom sila. Napakalayo pa ng nilakad nila maibigay lang ang tulong😭😭😭 Napa isip ako, iba talagang tumulong ang nakakaramdam at nakaramdam ng hirap sa buhay. Maraming salamat po.
Gayundin, maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nagbigay ng tulong mula sa ibat ibang purok ng Laguilayan, patuloy parin po kaming tumatanggap.
