UFC President Dana White Donates To Mindanao Quake Victims

DANA WHITE – UFC President, Dana White gives a generous donation to the victims of the Mindanao Earthquakes via Senator Manny Pacquiao’s Foundation.

After the quakes that jolted parts of Mindanao, Senator Manny Pacquiao didn’t hesitate to offer his support. Aside from donating his own money, he went to Twitter and asked for help.

The fighting Senator heads his very own “Manny Pacquiao Foundation” which aims to “fight for those less fortunate and spreading hope around the world”. With this, the Senator gained a lot of support for the quake victims.

One of the people that were generous enough to give a donation was UFC President Dana White. He re-tweeted Pacquiao’s call for help and said that he would donate $10,000.

That’s about P500,000 and would be a huge help to those affected in Mindanao. With the aid of everybody that donated to the foundation, they have produced a whole gymnasium worth of goods to be donated.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), over 2,000 aftershocks were recorded within 3 days. There was also a magnitude 5 quake in Cotabato during All Saint’s Day.

With the massive quakes jolting Mindanao, people were afraid of a possible tsunami. However, Philvocs have dispelled the possibility.
