A disappointed netizen lambasted several hospital staff and security guards after allegedly refusing to accept a young patient.
Hospital is a health care institution providing first aid, treatment, specialized medications, nursing staff, and medical equipment to patients. Health personnel is tasked to treat the patients immediately.
Patients who are suffering from a sudden illness, accidents, fire, and other urgent health problems should go to the emergency department for immediate treatment and medication. Medical institution should prioritize the saving of lives above anything else.
Recently, a Facebook user named Weng Santiago has shared the video footage of several hospital personnel who refused to accept her nephew. The disappointed netizen and the guards had an exchange of heated arguments due to the incident.
Santiago explained that the hospital allegedly refused to admit the patient because they are not residents of Dasmariñas. She also accused the hospital of having a wrong diagnosis to her nephew.
