6.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Tulunan, Cotabato (October 31)
EARTHQUAKE – A magnitude 6.5 earthquake rocked Cotabato and neighboring areas on Thursday morning, October 31.
The shaking struck 33 kilometers northeast of Tulunan town which was the same place of the epicenter of last Tuesday’s magnitude 6.6 quake. A hotel even collapsed as recorded and posted by a netizen posted on Twitter. As of this posting, the tremor reportedly left five deaths.

The tremor was felt in the following areas with a depth of 2 kilometers as per ABS-CBN report:
Intensity VII – Tulunan, Cotabato; Kidapawan City; Bansalan, Davao del Sur
Intensity VI – Matanao, Davao Del Sur
Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity VII – Kidapawan City
Intensity V- Malungon, Sarangani
Intensity IV- Kiamba and Alabel,Sarangani; Tupi, South Cotabato; Koronadal City;
General Santos City
Intensity III – Gingoog City; Cagayan De Oro City
