PAGASA – LPA To Bring Rain Over Large Parts Of Philippines (October 28)

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA said a low pressure area (LPA) that is crossing the country will bring rains to large areas of Philippines.

The bureau said that on 3 AM. the weather disturbance was found over the Sulu Sea just about 150 kilometers west south west of the city of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental.

According to ABS-CBN News, the bureau’s weather specialist Loriedin Dela Cruz said that it will cross the Palawan landmass later this October 28 (Monday).

The following areas will face scattered rains and thunderstorms:

  • Metro Manila
  • Calabarzon
  • Mimaropa
  • Bicol Region
  • Zamboanga Peninsula
  • Visayas
  • Basilan
  • Sulu
  • Tawi-Tawi

The bureau further warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during sever thunderstorms.

As per the report, Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will face light rains brought by the northeast monsoon or amihan.

As for the temperature, Metro Manila will face a maximum 32 degrees Celsius, 24 degrees Celsius for Baguio, 31 degrees Celsius in Cebu, 27 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay, 31 degrees Celsius in Davao.
